Christmas Crack Recipe
Christmas crack also known as saltine cracker toffee or Christmas crack candy is a tasty and easy to make Christmas treat! Crackers coated in toffee, covered in chocolate and topped with your choice of toppings! YUM! It’s perfect for holiday parties or to give as a gift! See my favorite recipe for Christmas crack below! CHRISTMAS CRACK RECIPE
Ingredients:
- Saltine crackers or graham crackers. I use graham crackers.
- 1 cup (2 sticks) of butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 12oz Chocolate chips
- Toppings (optional)
Topping suggestions: Peanuts, marshmallows, almonds, candy canes, M&M’s, pretzels, Reese’s Pieces, sprinkles, bacon, Oreos
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Line baking sheet with non-stick foil.
- Line baking sheet with a single layer of crackers. Set aside.
- Heat brown sugar and butter in a skillet on stove top. Bring to boil. Heat to 270-290 degrees.
- Pour melted brown sugar and butter over the crackers.
- Bake 5 minutes.
- Melt chocolate chips and pour over the crackers.
- Top with your choice of toppings. Pat down with spatula.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
- Break apart and eat!

Directions with photos:

Line baking sheet with a single layer of crackers. Set aside.

Refrigerate at least 2 hours.

Store leftovers in airtight container or freezer bag in refrigerator.
