CHRISTMAS CRACK RECIPE

Ingredients:

  • Saltine crackers or graham crackers. I use graham crackers.
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) of butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 12oz Chocolate chips
  • Toppings (optional) 

Topping suggestions: Peanuts, marshmallows, almonds, candy canes, M&M’s, pretzels, Reese’s Pieces, sprinkles, bacon, Oreos

Directions: 

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  2. Line baking sheet with non-stick foil.
  3. Line baking sheet with a single layer of crackers. Set aside. 
  4. Heat brown sugar and butter in a skillet on stove top. Bring to boil. Heat to 270-290 degrees.
  5. Pour melted brown sugar and butter over the crackers. 
  6. Bake 5 minutes. 
  7. Melt chocolate chips and pour over the crackers. 
  8. Top with your choice of toppings. Pat down with spatula.
  9. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. 
  10. Break apart and eat!

Directions with photos:

Line baking sheet with a single layer of crackers. Set aside.
