Healthy Chicken Soup Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
  • 1 Onion, Diced
  • 4 Carrots, chopped
  • 1 Head of Cabbage, shredded
  • 4 Cups Chicken Broth
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Black Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a pan on the stovetop, cook the chicken for a few minutes on each side.
  2. Add the garlic, onions, carrots, cabbage and continue cooking until the chicken is no longer pink.
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Bring to a boil. Cover. Turn down heat. Simmer for about 45 minutes.
  5. Shred the chicken.
