Jalapeno Pepper Jam Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 large red bell pepper
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • 10 jalapenos
  • 1 (1.75 ounce) box pectin
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 5 cups sugar

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Finely chop the bell peppers and jalapenos.
  2. Add the peppers to a large pot.
  3. Pour the pectin over the peppers.
  4. Add the apple cider vinegar. Bring to a boil.
  5. Once it is boiling, stir in the sugar until dissolved. Continue boiling for about 1 minute while stirring constantly.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Pour into jars. Place a lid and ring onto the top of each of the jars.
  8. Place the jars in a water bath and process for about 15 minutes or until they have sealed. You will hear a popping noise once sealed.

TIPS:

Store in a cool, dry place.

Refrigerate after opening.

This jam goes perfect with cream cheese and crackers or in a peanut butter sandwich!
