Creamy Mushroom Chicken Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 26 ounces mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 6 garlic cloves, mined
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Heat the cooking oil in a pan on the stovetop.
  2. Add the chicken breasts. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken breasts from the pan and set aside.
  3. Melt the butter in the same pan.
  4. Add the mushrooms. Fry for about 3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the broth, stir occasionally for two minutes.
  6. Add the garlic.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and seasonings. Simmer for about 4 minutes until the sauce is slightly thickened.
  8. Stir in the parmesan cheese.
  9. Return the chicken to the pan. Continue cooking for about 5 minutes or until the chicken is done and no longer pink.
