Chocolate Caramel Cookies

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa Powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 11 Ounces Caramel Bits

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, add the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and the vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Add the eggs and mix well.
  5. Gradually stir in the flour mixture.
  6. Mix in the caramel bits.
  7. Roll 1-2 tablespoons of dough at a time into balls and place them on a cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for about 10 minutes.
