Jalapeno Popper Mac and Cheese

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 box Macaroni and Cheese (I use Kraft Deluxe)
  • 5 Jalapenos, diced
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese, divided
  • 1lb Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cook the Macaroni and Cheese according to the box directions. After draining, return the pot of macaroni and cheese to the stovetop and continue cooking on low.
  2. Mix in the cream cheese, fully melt.
  3. Add 1/2 cup shredded cheese, jalapenos and the crumbled bacon, mix well.
  4. Sprinkle with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Top with shredded cheese (optional).
  6. Heat until the cheese is melted.
