INGREDIENTS:
- 1 Pound Italian Sausage
- 1 Pack Pepperoni
- 1 Large Onion
- 1 Green Bell Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
- 2 Cups Mushrooms
- 1 Can Olives
- 1 Can Stewed Tomatoes
- 1 Box Lasagna Noodles (Oven Ready)
- 1 Bottle Pizza Sauce
- 32 Ounces Ricotta Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan
- 2 Cups Mozzarella
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- In a large pan, cook and crumble the sausage over medium heat on the stovetop until done. Drain the sausage and set aside.
- In the same pan, cook the onions, green bell pepper, minced garlic and the mushrooms for about 5 minutes. Add the olives, tomatoes and pepperonis and continue cooking for another 3 minutes. Return the sausage to the pan. Mix well. Remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, mix together the Ricotta and the Parmesan.
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Add a single layer of noodles.
- Add another thin layer of pizza sauce.
- Add a layer of the ricotta mixture.
- Add a layer of the sausage, onion, bell pepper, garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes, olives and pepperonis.
- Top with mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat the layers.
- Top with a final layer of noodles, pizza sauce, mozzarella and top with pepperoni and tomato slices (optional).
- Cover the lasagna with foil and cook for about 45 minutes. Remove the foil and cook for another 15 minutes or until done.
