How to make stuffed bell peppers:

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 green bell peppers
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup pasta sauce
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • cheese (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375.
  2. Rinse the bell peppers. Cut off the tops of the bell peppers and clean out the seeds.
  3. Boil bell peppers in a large pot of water for 5 minutes.
  4. Cook the rice according to the package.
  5. Cook the ground beef on stove top. Drain well. Return to pan.
  6. Add garlic, onion and rice to meat. Mix well. Cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Stir in pasta sauce. Cook 5 minutes.
  8. Fill each bell pepper with meat mixture.
  9. Top with pasta sauce and/or cheese (optional).
  10. Bake for 30 minutes.
